Auction result well in line with expectations

The work La Cucitrice by Charles Edward Perugini was sold in the Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction at Sothebys in London in December 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,592.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Charles Edward Perugini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Hop Picker in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 173,250.00 (€ 249,219.19).

Die Arbeit La Cucitrice von Charles Edward Perugini wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
