Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Nouvelle Bonne by Charles Louis Baugniet was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,308.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Louis Baugniet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blind Man's Buff in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 556,000.00 (€ 596,054.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Nouvelle Bonne von Charles Louis Baugniet kam im Juli 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.308,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Louis Baugniet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blind Man's Buff im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 556.000,00 (€ 596.054,89).
