In April 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work View of Bellagio, Italy by Charles Rowbotham. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 875.00 (€ 985.40), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Rowbotham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Castelamare, Bay of Naples in November 2000 with an auction result of GBP 6,110.00 (€ 9,986.55).

Im April 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit View of Bellagio, Italy von Charles Rowbotham zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 985,40) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Rowbotham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Castelamare, Bay of Naples im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.110,00 (€ 9.986,55).
