Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Persephone's dream by Chiang Yomei was auctioned at Christies in Taipei in October 2001. The price achieved of TWD 94,000.00 (€ 3,020.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as TWD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Chiang Yomei have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2001 the work From the series of heart Sutra: The Dream & Gate Gate Paragate was auctioned for TWD 164,500.00 (€ 5,286.39).
