In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Indian Art Including Art from Pakistan and Sri Lanka, which included this untitled work by Chittrovanu Mazumdar. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 26,400.00 (€ 38,849.39), 32% above the upper estimate. Other works by Chittrovanu Mazumdar have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 847,500.00 (€ 69,771.69) in May 2008 for the work without title.

Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Indian Art Including Art from Pakistan and Sri Lanka durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Chittrovanu Mazumdar zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 38.849,39) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Chittrovanu Mazumdar haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 847.500,00 (€ 69.771,69) im Mai 2008 für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet.
