This artwork by Chris Johanson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in October 2019. In the Outsider(s) auction, the work Leberg - 2000 sold for EUR 4,336.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Chris Johanson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 32,338.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chris Johanson erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Outsider(s) wurde die Arbeit Leberg - 2000 für EUR 4.336,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chris Johanson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 32.338,91).
