Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Flowers by Christine Swane was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 2,500.00 (€ 335.62). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christine Swane achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still life with plants and vases in March this year with an auction result of DKK 60,000.00 (€ 8,051.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Flowers von Christine Swane im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 2.500,00 (€ 335,62) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christine Swane erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still life with plants and vases im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 60.000,00 (€ 8.051,88).
