Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Chu Teh-Chun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in February last year. The price achieved of HKD 163,800.00 (€ 18,665.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chu Teh-Chun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harmonie Hivernale in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 229,568,000.00 (€ 24,578,851.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Chu Teh-Chun kam im Februar letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 163.800,00 (€ 18.665,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chu Teh-Chun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harmonie Hivernale im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 229.568.000,00 (€ 24.578.851,54).
