The work Fun by Damien Hirst was auctioned at Christies in Brussels in October this year. It achieved a price of GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,149.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).

Die Arbeit Fun von Damien Hirst kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in Brüssel zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.149,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Damien Hirst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lullaby Spring im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.652.000,00 (€ 14.323.082,54).
