Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of Karen Margrethe West Dreyer, the artist's sister by Dankvart Dreyer for DKK 10,000.00 (€ 8,739.73). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Dankvart Dreyer have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June this year by the work “Landskab med Barløse Kirke” at DKK 85,000.00 (€ 11,411.17).

Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of Karen Margrethe West Dreyer, the artist's sister von Dankvart Dreyer für DKK 10.000,00 (€ 8.739,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Dankvart Dreyer wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres die Arbeit “Landskab med Barløse Kirke” mit DKK 85.000,00 (€ 11.411,17).
