The work Tasmanian Landscape by David Keeling was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in April 2001. It achieved a price of AUD 9,987.50 (€ 5,735.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Keeling - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work End of The Road, 2002, which sold at auction in May last year for AUD 17,220.00 (€ 16,046.97).

Die Arbeit Tasmanian Landscape von David Keeling kam im April 2001 bei Christies in Melbourne zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 9.987,50 (€ 5.735,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Für andere Arbeiten von David Keeling mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit End of The Road, 2002 beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für AUD 17.220,00 (€ 16.046,97) versteigert wurde.
