This artwork by Didier Massard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in May last year. In the Lorenz Bäumer Collectionneur ! auction, the work La Méduse, 2004 sold for EUR 5,040.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. This high result makes La Méduse, 2004 the most expensive artwork by Didier Massard that we have observed at auctions so far.
