A top price for Dolorès Marat - as previously expected
In October 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Eye Feel Photography, which included the work Carrefour - Série New York - 1993/2000 by Dolorès Marat. The price achieved of EUR 1,950.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Carrefour - Série New York - 1993/2000 is the most expensive artwork by Dolorès Marat that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Eye Feel Photography durch, in der auch die Arbeit Carrefour - Série New York - 1993/2000 von Dolorès Marat zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.950,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Carrefour - Série New York - 1993/2000 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Dolorès Marat, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
