In May 2003 Christies in New York held the auction Post War and Contemporary (Afternoon Session), which included the work Untitled (Progression) by Donald Judd. The »bidding war« ended at USD 657,100.00 (€ 558,473.57), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Donald Judd achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 9,831,600.00 (€ 8,753,984.51).

Im Mai 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post War and Contemporary (Afternoon Session) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Progression) von Donald Judd zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 657.100,00 (€ 558.473,57) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Donald Judd erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.831.600,00 (€ 8.753.984,51).
