Auction result well in line with expectations
The work El Chubasco by Dr. Atl was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2011. The price achieved of USD 302,500.00 (€ 224,856.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dr. Atl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mañana Luminosa in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,650,500.00 (€ 1,268,639.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit El Chubasco von Dr. Atl kam im November 2011 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 302.500,00 (€ 224.856,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dr. Atl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mañana Luminosa im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.650.500,00 (€ 1.268.639,51).
