Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paisaje by Dr. Atl was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2019. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 44,847.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dr. Atl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mañana Luminosa in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,650,500.00 (€ 1,268,639.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paisaje von Dr. Atl kam im Mai 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 44.847,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dr. Atl erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mañana Luminosa im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.650.500,00 (€ 1.268.639,51).
