Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Têtes De Chiens by Édouard Manet was auctioned at Christies in New York in October last year. It achieved a price of USD 81,900.00 (€ 82,444.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Édouard Manet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Grand Canal à Venise in November last year with an auction result of USD 51,915,000.00 (€ 50,290,613.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Têtes De Chiens von Édouard Manet kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 82.444,13) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Édouard Manet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Grand Canal à Venise im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 51.915.000,00 (€ 50.290.613,19).
