In the La Ménagerie auction, the work Poisson-boeuf sold for USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,553.68) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Édouard Marcel Sandoz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poissons, 1935-38, which sold at auction in September 2018 for CHF 75,000.00 (€ 66,133.20).

In der Auktion La Ménagerie wurde die Arbeit Poisson-boeuf für USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.553,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Édouard Marcel Sandoz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poissons, 1935-38 beobachtet, die im September 2018 für CHF 75.000,00 (€ 66.133,20) versteigert wurde.
