It achieved a price of GBP 25,500.00 (€ 29,061.68), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Édouard Vuillard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Misia et Vallotton à Villeneuve in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 17,750,000.00 (€ 14,918,473.69).

Die Arbeit Déjeuner sur l'herbe von Édouard Vuillard kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 25.500,00 (€ 29.061,68) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Édouard Vuillard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Misia et Vallotton à Villeneuve im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.750.000,00 (€ 14.918.473,69).
