This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 120,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edvard Munch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Scream in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 119,922,500.00 (€ 96,993,286.96).

Die Arbeit Figurer ved Seinen i Saint-Cloud von Edvard Munch war einem Käufer im April letzten Jahres GBP 390.900,00 (€ 466.134,43) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 120.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edvard Munch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Scream im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 119.922.500,00 (€ 96.993.286,96).
