Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sculpture Of The Crucifixion by Edward Delaney was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2011. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,625.00 (€ 2,970.18). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward Delaney - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Horses, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 5,737.50 (€ 6,409.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sculpture Of The Crucifixion von Edward Delaney kam im März 2011 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.625,00 (€ 2.970,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Edward Delaney mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Two Horses beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für GBP 5.737,50 (€ 6.409,30) versteigert wurde.
