In October 2013 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm, which included the work View from Södermalm, Stockholm by Einar Jolin. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 210,000.00 (€ 24,253.35), 40% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Einar Jolin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Skridskobanan vid Stallmästaregården" in October 2009 with an auction result of SEK 2,050,000.00 (€ 197,011.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit View from Södermalm, Stockholm von Einar Jolin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 210.000,00 (€ 24.253,35) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Einar Jolin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Skridskobanan vid Stallmästaregården" im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 2.050.000,00 (€ 197.011,18).
