In April 2015 Christies in Milan held the auction Milan Modern and Contemporary, which included the work Superficie bianca by Enrico Castellani. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 354,000.00 42% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enrico Castellani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Superficie Bianca in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 3,778,500.00 (€ 4,824,598.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Im April 2015 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Superficie bianca von Enrico Castellani zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 354.000,00 und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Enrico Castellani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Superficie Bianca im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.778.500,00 (€ 4.824.598,68).
