In the The Delighted Eye: Works from the Collection of Allen and Beryl Freer auction, the work The Young Men in the Fiery Furnace sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,271.09) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eric Ravilious achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Aldeburgh Bathing Machines in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 269,000.00 (€ 317,393.55).
