Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fécamp. Voiliers dans le port by Eugène Boudin was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in June 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 59,787.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Boudin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La plage de Trouville in March last year with an auction result of GBP 2,262,000.00 (€ 2,681,855.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fécamp. Voiliers dans le port von Eugène Boudin wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 59.787,70) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Boudin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La plage de Trouville im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.262.000,00 (€ 2.681.855,58).
