Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Ships In The Harbour of Rotterdam by Evert Moll. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,680.00. Admittedly, works by Evert Moll have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moored sailing barges in Amsterdam with the St. Nikolaaskerk and the Schreierstoren beyond in January 2001 with an auction result of NLG 37,600.00 (€ 16,453.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ships In The Harbour of Rotterdam von Evert Moll zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.680,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Evert Moll auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Moored sailing barges in Amsterdam with the St. Nikolaaskerk and the Schreierstoren beyond im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 37.600,00 (€ 16.453,03).
