Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Squirrel', 'Bamboo', and 'Peony' by Fei Chengwu was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 1,657.50 (€ 1,920.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fei Chengwu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chinese Patience in May 2010 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,110.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Squirrel', 'Bamboo', and 'Peony' von Fei Chengwu kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.657,50 (€ 1.920,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fei Chengwu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chinese Patience im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.110,03).
