Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Moulin de la Masse au clair de lune (Bourg de Batz) by Ferdinand Loyen du Puigaudeau was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 2,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,505.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ferdinand Loyen du Puigaudeau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venise, Le Palais Des Doges in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 269,000.00 (€ 197,214.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Moulin de la Masse au clair de lune (Bourg de Batz) von Ferdinand Loyen du Puigaudeau kam im Juni 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 2.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.505,30) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Loyen du Puigaudeau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venise, Le Palais Des Doges im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 269.000,00 (€ 197.214,08).
