Auction result well in line with expectations
The work By the fountain by Ferdinand Max Bredt was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 107,400.00 (€ 124,768.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ferdinand Max Bredt have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2005 the work An Oriental Noblewoman And Her Entourage On A Barge was auctioned for GBP 131,200.00 (€ 194,446.69).

Die Arbeit By the fountain von Ferdinand Max Bredt kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 107.400,00 (€ 124.768,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
