Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,228.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ferdinand Max Bredt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Oriental Noblewoman And Her Entourage On A Barge in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 131,200.00 (€ 194,446.69).
