Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Coy Dancer, Circa 1920 by Ferdinand Preiss was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2011. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,669.44). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ferdinand Preiss - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Breasting The Tape Sculpture, Circa 1925, which sold at auction in April 2011 for GBP 39,650.00 (€ 44,652.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Coy Dancer, Circa 1920 von Ferdinand Preiss kam im April 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.669,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Preiss mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Breasting The Tape Sculpture, Circa 1925 beobachtet, die im April 2011 für GBP 39.650,00 (€ 44.652,73) versteigert wurde.
