This artwork by Fernand Léger achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in November 2021. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Femme au perroquet sold for EUR 120,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernand Léger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Contraste de formes in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 70,062,500.00 (€ 58,885,947.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fernand Léger erzielte im November 2021 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Femme au perroquet für EUR 120.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fernand Léger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Contraste de formes im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 70.062.500,00 (€ 58.885.947,22).
