Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lo Studio Del Pittore A San Barnaba by Filippo de Pisis was sold in the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction at Sothebys in Milan in November 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 27,150.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Filippo de Pisis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ponte sulla Senna in May 2001 with an auction result of ITL 196,000,000.00 (€ 185,452.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lo Studio Del Pittore A San Barnaba von Filippo de Pisis wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 27.150,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Filippo de Pisis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ponte sulla Senna im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 196.000.000,00 (€ 185.452,40).
