In November 2011 Christies in Milan held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Flussi Immobili 8 by Francesca Leone. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 26,000.00 73% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Francesca Leone; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Flussi Immobili 18 (Motionless Flows 18) sold at auction in September 2012 with the realized price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,644.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 73 % übertroffen
Im November 2011 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flussi Immobili 8 von Francesca Leone zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 26.000,00 und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Francesca Leone; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Flussi Immobili 18 (Motionless Flows 18) im September 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.644,68).
