Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Pierre Boulez Collection, which included the work Deuxième version du trityque 1944 – 1989 by Francis Bacon. It changed hands for a price of EUR 28,864.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Bacon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three Studies Of Lucian Freud in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 142,405,000.00 (€ 104,663,383.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Pierre Boulez Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Deuxième version du trityque 1944 – 1989 von Francis Bacon zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 28.864,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francis Bacon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three Studies Of Lucian Freud im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 142.405.000,00 (€ 104.663.383,80).
