Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Two Seated Women by Francisco Zúñiga. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,900.00 (€ 1,840.55) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francisco Zúñiga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grupo de cuatro mujeres de pie in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 3,127,500.00 (€ 2,783,463.87).
