Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kubistisk Komposition (Cubist Composition) by Franciska Clausen was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2006. The price achieved of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,757.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franciska Clausen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Éléments mécaniques", which sold at auction in October 2012 for SEK 305,000.00 (€ 35,471.14).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.757,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden.
