This artwork by Fred Zinnemann achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2007. In the Photographs auction, the work Wall Street, 1932 sold for GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,273.78) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Fred Zinnemann; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Pepsodent, Times Square, New York, November sold at auction in April 2010 with the realized price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,638.25).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fred Zinnemann erzielte im Juni 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit Wall Street, 1932 für GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.273,78) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Fred Zinnemann; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Pepsodent, Times Square, New York, November im April 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.638,25).
