Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work House By A Stream by Frederick Mulhaupt for USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,481.48). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Mulhaupt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The White Schooner in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 168,000.00 (€ 132,419.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit House By A Stream von Frederick Mulhaupt für USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.481,48) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederick Mulhaupt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The White Schooner im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 168.000,00 (€ 132.419,01).
