Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Italienische Mutter Mit Kind by Friedrich von Amerling was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in New York in April 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 71,016.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Friedrich von Amerling - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Austrian joseph Amerling Als Knabe (The Artist'S Brother), which sold at auction in June 2010 for GBP 127,250.00 (€ 154,747.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Italienische Mutter Mit Kind von Friedrich von Amerling wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 71.016,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
