In June 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction The Ginny Williams Collection Evening Sale, which included the work New Mexico Landscape And Sand Hills by Georgia O'Keeffe. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,700,000.00 (€ 1,513,667.53), 42% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georgia O'Keeffe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jimson Weed/White Flower No. 1 in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 44,405,000.00 (€ 35,701,077.34).

Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion The Ginny Williams Collection Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit New Mexico Landscape And Sand Hills von Georgia O'Keeffe zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.700.000,00 (€ 1.513.667,53) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georgia O'Keeffe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jimson Weed/White Flower No. 1 im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.405.000,00 (€ 35.701.077,34).
