It achieved a price of EUR 8,125.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35 %. Admittedly, works by Ger Lataster have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 44,987.15).

Die Arbeit Audience Impuissante von Ger Lataster wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.125,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ger Lataster auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 44.987,15).
