The work Stella Nera by Gilberto Zorio was sold in the Milan Modern and Contemporary auction at Christies in Milan in April 2014. It achieved a price of EUR 24,700.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gilberto Zorio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 281,000.00 (€ 313,042.51).

Die Arbeit Stella Nera von Gilberto Zorio wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 24.700,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gilberto Zorio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 281.000,00 (€ 313.042,51).
