Upper estimate price exceeded by 39 %.
In November 2021 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Contemporary Art | Milan, which included the work Tango argentino by Gino Severini. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 835,300.00 39% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gino Severini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danseuse in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 15,049,250.00 (€ 19,022,756.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary Art | Milan durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tango argentino von Gino Severini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 835.300,00 und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gino Severini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danseuse im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.049.250,00 (€ 19.022.756,57).
