Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Giovanni Battista Langetti; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Joseph Interpreting The Baker'S Dream sold at auction in January 2011 with the realized price of USD 98,500.00 (€ 71,819.18).
