Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Flottist" (Sentinel) by Gösta Adrian-Nilsson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 75,000.00 (€ 8,661.91). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gösta Adrian-Nilsson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Katarinahissen III". in November 2017 with an auction result of SEK 7,200,000.00 (€ 723,751.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Flottist" (Sentinel) von Gösta Adrian-Nilsson im Oktober 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 75.000,00 (€ 8.661,91) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gösta Adrian-Nilsson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Katarinahissen III". im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 7.200.000,00 (€ 723.751,89).
