Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2009 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Primulas by Gordon Bryce. The price achieved of GBP 1,187.50 (€ 1,339.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Gordon Bryce have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The simple room in March 2002 with an auction result of GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,299.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Primulas von Gordon Bryce zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.187,50 (€ 1.339,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gordon Bryce auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The simple room im März 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.465,00 (€ 7.299,10).
