Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mushrooms by Gordon Bryce was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in April 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,752.93). Admittedly, works by Gordon Bryce have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The simple room in March 2002 with an auction result of GBP 4,465.00 (€ 7,299.10).

Die Arbeit Mushrooms von Gordon Bryce wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.752,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gordon Bryce auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The simple room im März 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.465,00 (€ 7.299,10).
