Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figures by Gu Luo was auctioned at POLY in April 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 76,700.00 (€ 8,730.69) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gu Luo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Character And Landscape in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 483,000.00 (€ 47,280.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figures von Gu Luo kam im April 2019 bei POLY zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 76.700,00 (€ 8.730,69) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gu Luo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Character And Landscape im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 483.000,00 (€ 47.280,30).
