The work Lady by Gu Luo was sold in the Delightful Pleasure-Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2015. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 25,960.00 (€ 3,046.06), 73% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gu Luo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Character And Landscape in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 483,000.00 (€ 47,280.30).

Die Arbeit Lady von Gu Luo wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Delightful Pleasure-Chinese Painting and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 25.960,00 (€ 3.046,06) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gu Luo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Character And Landscape im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 483.000,00 (€ 47.280,30).
